Question

i recently had sex with a friend. I know he only sees me as a friend and he got back with his gf. I'm just feeling lost, used, like I ruined a friendship. I care about him so much but he has no idea... I just don't know how to make myself feel better and feel so much regret. has anyone else ever felt like this?

I haven't ever slept with a friend but as someone who has had her share of fun in college, I know the feeling.

​To be honest, he's a guy and they can sometimes categorize things very differently than we do. The best thing you can do for yourself is to move forward. If he wanted to date you he wouldn't have gone back to an ex (which says a lot more about the confusion he's going through than anything having to do with you).

​You need to focus on yourself and do this for you. It may not seem like it but there are 6 billion (give or take) people in this world and I promise you there is someone out there that will reciprocate the feelings.

​Get yourself a manicure/pedicure, a bottle of wine (if over 21), and cheers yourself for loving yourself enough to not waste your time.
