Acutane changed my life!! My face was scarring even though I never picked at it. I tried everything, natural remedies, washing my face, proactive, antibiotics, facials, chemical peels, NOTHING worked. My dermatologist gave me acutane and now my skin is (KNock on wood) so great!!! I barely use make up whereas before id use Mac powder and my chest and back are smooth and beautiful. The chapped lips and dry skin are terrible but a great sacrifice. Changed my life !!!!! I'm so much more confident and I don't cry from feeling so bad about myself bc of my skin. I really recommend it but if you are planning on getting pregnant soon, DO NOT USE IT.

My niece is taking it, very powerful stuff. She is finishing cancer treatment and that's the medicine they gave her to mature and benign her cancer cells.

I would be very interested to know if any of you 'Yes' voters had any pregnancy issues...for example, specifically a link between taking this and Cholestasis of Pregnancy (feel very itchy, with high bile acid levels as the cause as the liver doesn't filter it normally)??
