Just wondering how common it is to get pregnant while breastfeeding? we have been TTC for 12 months but have been told to stop breastfeeding even though I'm ovulating.

Oh, yes, it can definitely happen. I know several women who got pregnant while BF. My doctor was always warning me to be careful and use protection. Even if your periods were irregular (or haven't come back completely yet), it can still happen.
