How to tell my parents?!

They live about an hour away.. Should I call them? Or should I wait until next week where my boyfriend and I can go down to see them? I'm only 4 weeks ish..

My parents aren't quite as far but I'm waiting to tell them in person. Definitely already told my brother and sister though:) I called my sister and asked to speak to my 3.5 year old niece. I told her to tell mommy she was going to get a cousin :) my sister screamed in the background lol

We had our first drs appt today which also happened to be my mil bday. We went to see her and We got her a bday card from the baby that said happy bday grandma. She thought we gave her the wrong card at first lol. It's the best gift we ever could have given her. She is so excited she literally can't sit still. It was the best reaction ever

We told ours over the weekend. I made a wine label that read "the best parents get promoted to grandparents" and stuck that a bottle of wine. We did that for one set. The other we made mugs (bought the mugs, decorated with sharpie then baked) that read "grandpa" and "grandma" with their names and expected month and year. They LOVED it. It was awesome seeing them open and read everything, then look at us to make sure we weren't joking.

This is our second and we haven't told anyone but a friend of mine. My parents live overseas. Last time my mum was here, so we told her at 5 weeks by giving her a pacifier. She got so surprised and started crying. Then we told my dad and step mum over Skype at 7 weeks. I'm only 4.5 weeks at the moment and think I will tell around 7 weeks again this time around...

Mine are in the process of moving so they have been about 8 hours away for the last couple of weeks. It's been killing me! But I'm waiting until I see them next. Either this weekend or next hopefully! I'm about 5.5 weeks talk to them frequently so it's been so hard not to tell!!!

I am waiting to record the heartbeat at my appointment so I can play it for them. Mainly for my Dad. I told my Mom already. I haven't told DH yet, die to my mc history. Just want to be sure.

My four year old just blurted it out to the parents before I had my chance lol. We were over for dinner and I asked my two to wait and let me tell, ya right. I felt like I was being tattled on the way he said it, we all got a good laugh tho.
