HSG yesterday. Easy!

I has read so many horror stories about pain during HSG. I was so worked up about that plus a bad result. I took 800 mg of ibuprofen and half of a Xanax. Doctor was excellent and explained everything step by step. He told me I would feel pressure when catheter was inserted and again when the dye was pushed in, but I really didn't feel anything. Probably the most uncomfortable part was the speculum. The dye spilled out on both sides and I'm very happy about that. Just wanted to post a good story in case anyone is freaked out about an upcoming HSG. It's a very quick procedure. Good luck and baby dust to all!
