Keloids

I have back acne and when some of my acne begins to heal, it turns to keloids. I am very self conscious about it because I would really love to wear pretty dresses or tank tops and I don't feel comfortable in them, and I'm getting married soon and want to wear a strapless dress. Does anyone else get keloids? Can I make them go away?
