Provera to "jump start" cycle after miscarriage
Hello ladies. I could use your help. I had a missed miscarriage in June. I went for my ultrasound and there was no heartbeat. I tried misoprostol twice but it didn't work and had a D & C on June 25th.
I am now on day 45 and have yet to see AF yet. I am so frustrated. I had labs drawn yesterday and all hormone levels were normal. My doctor wants me to wait to more weeks ( take a pregnancy test) the take provera to " jump start" my cycle. I am really hesitant to do this it seems so counter intuitive to take something that also prevents pregnancy when I want to become pregnant again.
Does anyone have any experience with this medication?
