How often do you get AF on your own?

AF on your own?" /> How often does AF visit you when your body is left to it own devices and not getting help from BC or other meds?

I am 33 & had always had irregular periods but didn't think anything of it when a teenager (I didn't miss it!) In my 20s, I took BC so I didn't notice that I had v irregular AFs. I only found out I had PCOS in Dec 2013. I went to Dr to get checked out because, after getting off BC pill April 2013, I had one regular AF & then a strange, mini-AF a month later. My fix was to get back on BC & try again in July when DH & I seriously started TTC. But then, after one regular AF on getting off the pill, AF disappeared entirely! That lasted 4 months so I went to the OB & got tested. They diagnosed me with PCOS & referred me to RE who gave me Provera to induce AF in January (AF had been gone for 5 months, by then!). Now, I'm TTC on Femara/Letrozole & supplementing it with diet changes (& I've lost some weight thanks to inositol). In short, PCOS sucks - esp when you're TTC! Nevertheless, I'm hoping we all get our BFPs soon!

I just found out I have pcos, my periods were on the dot regular until I turned 29 then they started coming every 2-3 months. It's kinda funny when hubby & I were finally comfortable with TTC my periods were crazy! I have hope though, now that I know what I have and I know several people who have it that have children of their own I'm full of hope!!!

I'm pretty regular as long as I am exercising at least 3 times a week and at least 30 minutes a time. I'm very sensitive to hormones so I haven't been on anything to control it since 2010 at least

ok here is my story! 
​I was diagnosed with PCOS in January 2014. I had been on birth control from I was taking birth control from January of 2008 until October of 2013. for the five years I was on birth control I never had a period. after stopping birth control my period never came back. when I went to th gynecologist they did a ultrasound and bloodwork which were evidence I had a picture perfect case of PCOS. last month I had my first period which lasted 20 days and put me in the hospital.

I'm not sure if I have pcos I have all the symptoms but my periods are perfect (every month ) and I ovulate every month (90%)

I have been TTC for 11 months. I have
​also been diagnosed with hypoglycemia which was caused from PCOS and now I am diabetic. I am 5'5" 120 pounds. I have severe acne and hair loss. I hate PCOS.  I found out after the first month that you can't take opks bc the hormonal imbalance creates false positives. this month af had not shown but that's not a suprise. I tried mucinex this cycle helped create CM which I don't normally have. seeing the gynecologist on August 26th. doctor said I could ask for clomid at any time but would like to convieve without it.

I wish more often than monthly was an option. When I don't ovulate, my cycle lasts around 20 days on average.

Monthly only because I exercise and try to eat healthy, been pregnant once but lost it 7 months ago
