I see everyone else posting little pics with there posts ( emoticons,  or hearts.etc) is android not capable of this or is I just my phone??

on my new android phone, I have to go like I'm going to do a question mark, then there's a little smile next to the face. I have an LG g2, but I don't know if it's the same on all androids

Oh I have the samsung s5 and honestly I couldn't tell you how to do iy. there's nothing any where to indicate it.
