Do you drink during ttc ?

I have always enjoyed my wine . 1-2 glasses keeps me sane; but now I'm rethinking it although my OB say it is fine to drink til it's pink . I just worry like 'what if the THREE glasses I had on Saturday affect my cm or cause it to cm' . I need to stay sane but I also want to be very healthy . Any advice or recommendations you've heard from your doctors ?

I think drinking a couple glasses here or there is fine while TTC. Besides giving some sanity it helps some relax during the stressed of getting that bfp. Stress is a huge factor.

A few months before starting to try I stopped taking medicine I used to take daily during the work week for ADHD. That has been really, really hard - and now that we've struggled to conceive whenever I'm struggling to focus, I'm particularly frustrated with our lack of a BFP. So I'm glad I didn't also stop drinking or eating sushi and cheese (two of my staples!). I'll be so happy when we get pregnant, I won't notice any of what I give up but in the meantime, I think changing my life even more would make dealing with infertility even worse.

I used to worry about it. But at this point I've been ttc for over a year so I'm just living my life (with moderation of course). Otherwise I would go insane!

I drink until the TWW. If you get a bfn, that's the one thing you can look forward to again :) and turkey sandwiches. Although wine is much better.

My OBGYN also said not to worry until I get the BFP and even then a glass of wine here and there is fine. I try to avoid heavy drinking after ovulation or a week after ovulating (when I may have implanted).

Yeah I have definitely limited the drinking to once a week at most but I have heard the same thing that in moderation it's okay and people I know have gotten pregnant during a cycle with the holidays and New Years Eve in between and everything was just fine.

Alcohol will help you relax and helps with blood flow

​The month I did fall pregnant is the month I drank .....   I had a nice big drink the day we tried actually 
​I believe it did help blood flow and yes I was very much relaxed lol

I am trying to not drink at all this cycle.  I usually drink til it's pink.  But no pink lol so time to abstain and see what happens.

I just drink around AF for peace of mind...it's hard to enjoy once I'm getting closer to o because I feel guilty. We always "celebrate" AF with a drink! :)
