Getting offended easily!

So i asked for suggestions on facebook and did a poll on here for people to say the baby names that they liked out of the top names hubby and i picked. However, the name that hubby and i liked the most for a boy (tex alexander) was bashed by my aunt. She said "do not name him that" and of course i asked why and she said "its too weird for a boy. Its a dogs name" which really pissed me off. Am i being overly sensitive or was she just being rude?
