Poll-How would you feel? Help.

So I had a gender ultrasound today and my baby's father couldn't make it, so I brought a friend with me. I didn't want to find out without the father so I decided to have the technician write the gender down instead, to give the father the same surprising experience as me. My friend knew this but she still found out the gender when I told her not to look. I wanted to be the first person to find out since I'm the mother and I'm the one going through all this. Am I wrong for being upset?.. Please help.
