Heartbeat / baby down low

This morning when using my Doppler I found the babies heartbeat down very low, like just above my pubic line low, the bottom of my stomach. This has worried me a bit. I've read online this could just mean I'm having a boy and carrying low, I find out in a few days, so maybe it's just that I'm having a boy! ? I'm panicking incase it's a sign of a m/c, has anyone else found the heart beat very low?
