Was there a reason?

Did Drs ever get to the bottom of why you miscarried? Or was there never any reason at all - just a "it happens".

I've had 3 miscarriages, we have been ttc for 8 years. Doing Clomid, got pregnant 2nd round and miscarried at 10 weeks. The emergency room doctor finally pinned it down to my blood type and never having been given the Rhogam shot with my first 2 miscarriages. My body was fighting them off. I now have the shot and we are trying again. Hoping for a sticky bean soon!

No no reason as such was given. It could ve been hypothyroid, polycystic ovaries or none of these. Some people also suggest to ensure that theres no deficiency of vitamin D. But no medical reasoning behind as such.  Good luck to all. Be positive. Attract good. God loves us all. ??

I didn't get a reason at all. They said they only investigate 1st trimester mc's if it happens 3 times without a full term pregnant inbetween:/

No definite reason from my dr. for either of my miscarriages but a probable cause could have been a wide uterine septum. It's been removed since and we're finally trying again. We'll see what happens this next time around but feeling hopeful!

We never found a reason for my two miscarriages. The first was at 6 weeks. The second was at 13 weeks. Nothing unusual on my blood test. No irregularities with my uterus.

My loss at 4 mos was unexplained. Baby and I  were fine. Second was natural mc so not sure. I have d and c for the third next week, so we ll see.

When i got prego 1st time lost my son at 5 months the old doctor didnt do any test on me or my son found new ob got prego and  i had my 2nd still born at 7 months they found out i have lupus aka blood clots

We chose to have tissue sent away. We would have had a girl and she had Turners Syndrome. It's an abnormality of one of the X chromosomes. I miscarried in June. We have just started TTC again. As heartbroken as I was and still am, I'm glad we learned the reason.
