Week late with two BFN

Hey guys AF was due on the 20th. No sign of it at all. I took a test three days before my AF was supposed to be due and it was a BFN then I tooko another when it was three days late also a BFN. I am super confused, my husband is excited and really hoping I'm pregnant. I just wanted to share with you guys and get y'all's opinion since some of y'all seem to be going through the same.
