Anyone have the copper iud (paragard) out & how did it effect you?

I had mine out in July. Af was a week late that month and very light. Ttc august, af a week late with some brown spotting today. Bfns yesterday and today. 
​I think my cycle is longer now, was always every 28 days regularly before iud and with it. Now, body doing it's own thing?

I had a Mirena in for 10 months and had it taken out in April '14. Still TTC #1, hoping it happens this month :)

Had mine for five years and had it removed in July. My period has been on time and is like clockwork every 28 days. I haven't had any complications since having it removed. We started trying in August. Still no BFP, but we're patient and it'll happen when it's meant to happen.

My cycle is longer and AF lighter and shorter now than it was during or pre IUD, which I find kind of odd since I don't remember it getting heavier when I first got the IUD.

​The changes to my cycle seem to be permanent, but a few months on it has settled down and this seems to be the new normal.

it was horrible 
​first of all the initially inserted it incorrectly 
​I know this becus when I went to the hospital becus of horrible horrible pain, they performed some type of ultrasound & informed me
​I had to have emergency surgery that same day becus they had also found a cyst the size of a golf ball in one of my ovaries :(

​anyway...after that nightmare, it took about a good 3 months maybe on  y 4th cycle was I somewhat having a "regular" cycle
​it sucked

Had mine out in June. However, it broke upon removal and I had to have surgery. The broken piece was badly embedded. There's still some left in there- it was too deep to come out- but only 2mm or so left. Plus it's sooooo deep it's not supposed to effect ttc. I had an HSG test to confirm everything looked good to start ttc re: scarring and leftover piece (doc said we were good to go).

​After all of that, my peer was only 1 week late which I was impressed by. We'll see what happens this month. So far so good- seemed to O on CD 18 which is my usual time. GL everyone!!!

I had my paragard iud out the beginning of august to start ttc, AF was a few days early this month but much lighter and shorter, it was a nice change haha.
