I'm a single 38 year old lesbian, and I'm trying for a baby with my best friend who is a gay guy willing to donate fresh sperm each month. My situation is a little unusual tho - my donor wants to play a significant role in the baby's life: be there throughout my pregnancy, support me during the delivery, and live together to co-parent the child. In addition, my other two best friends are a married couple in their 40's who are unable to have children and they are committed to helping me and my friend raise this child, to the point where we're all buying a house to live together. So my baby will have two gay bio parents and two more straight co-parents, for a grand total of FOUR parents, which for me, as a single person needing lots of tlc and support during conception, pregnancy, delivery, and then raising this baby, is just an amazingly ideal situation!

Wel... Kind of. I don't know. I decided to try for #3 on my own after raising my first two single handedly... And loved it. I didn't go to a sperm bank, or find a donor... I just... Well, in all actuality I went to a bar and picked a guy who had the kind of looks I wanted for my child and a personality I clicked with. I told him I was in birth control... And Bob's your uncle. Maybe a bit sneaky, but, since he snuck out the next morning before I woke up, I didn't feel too bad.

Not to conceive my own child no! But been a surro and had many friends who were. Some couples use there own but that all depends on if it's the mans sperm and how strong they are and if two females trying to than they use donor sperm! Nothing wrong with that
