How much outside pressure do you feel to have a child?

Sometimes we have our parents asking for grandchildren, sometimes it's our friends with children, other times it's that feeling of being behind or left out. Do you feel any outside pressure to have children? How has this effected you and/or your relationship?

I don't have pressure from my parents or his.. But people at work ask quite often. My brother and sister-in-law joke about it a lot because their 3 kids don't have any cousins yet! I also noticed that people pressure me, but not my husband. I'm not the one who needs the pressure! Lol

I had to talk my parents down from buying TWO car seats because they were on sale. They bring it up constantly. Sometimes it gets on my nerves but most of the time it makes me happy to see they are so excited to have grandchildren. They didn't mention anything while I was dating my husband but as soon as that ring was on my/his finger they started day dreaming.

Very little.

Our parents have not mentioned it, and I don't think they we for a couple years at least. 
Extended family....just a couple jokingly mentioned it after we got married, but haven't mentioned it since. 
That's it! For now. I like how little pressure we are getting, and I know it will eventually change!

I said "some" because my family and friends used to ask all the time when we were going to have a baby. I suppose they followed the old "first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby carriage" saying a little too literally! I also think that because everyone knew how much I loved children they thought it was a given...
​Here we are almost 6 years after marriage and I rarely get asked about it, but I want it more than ever. I talk to my brother's wife about it a lot. She has a four year old and an 11 month old. They got married a few months before we did. I sometimes get jealous of her with her two kids, but then I realize that getting jealous does no good for any body. I just have to wait until it's our time.
