Thin healthy mama book?

Question

Any ladies using this book for healthy recipies? Just ordered it but my friends are raving about it. It's all over Pinterest with delicious recipies and Facebook has sites as well. Let me know if anyone starts and we can try it out together.!

I just read some reviews... It apparently recommends complete elimination of sugar from your diet. This can help lose weight, sure, but I worry that doing that during pregnancy could lead to complications with my child. My best friend got pregnant after gastric bypass (and removing all sugar from her diet) and her doc had her start adding it back into her diet so her son would learn to process sugar in utero.

​For me, it's best to just have a healthy, well-balanced diet (including a little sugar) during pregnancy and get exercise where I can. After baby is born, I'll re-evaluate.
