Not getting it!!!

Absolutely will get both. The benefits far outweigh any risks. My pertussis vaccine is up to date, but my doctor recommended I get it again to further protect the baby. I am also requesting that those who will be spending a lot of time with the baby do the same. After having a friend go through the loss of a week old baby due to pertussis, I will take every precaution I can!!

Absolutely not! There is too much risk involved from the side effects, I would never put myself and baby in that much danger!

I got the flu shot today. I never get it, but my doctor highly recommended it and I trust her judgment. Also, I am working in elementary schools, so I figure I am at a higher risk of being exposed to the flu.

I got both...pros outweigh the cons. My husband and my mother (who lives in my basement) got them too. Not taking any chances, lol.

I received both shots intramusculary at 29 weeks. I had never even gotten the Flu shot before... But my doctor recommended I received both shots. With the Tdap she explained that it was in hopes that some of it would transfer to the baby and help his defenses until he got his own shot at 4-6 months. It does leave your arm a bit sore not bad. Good Luck to all.
