Telling family

My husband and I decided early on in in our pregnancy we wouldn't tell any family until we hit the second trimester, mainly because this is out first baby and we wanted to make sure he/she made it passed the first trimester before spilling the beans. (We knew it would be really hard if we told everyone and God forbid something go wrong). However, we've made it! 13 weeks tomorow, so we will be telling everyone tonight/tomorrow. But now I'm feeling nervous! I feel like some people may be upset we didn't tell them right away :/ but that was a decision between my hubby & I. I'm just feeling nervous now I guess lol, my family is in Texas and his is in Florida.. While were stationed in Tennessee! So everything has to be done over the phone unfortunately. Any tips?? How did you tell your family? Especially if you live in another state. And how long did you wait?
