The pill

Hi,
I'm eve and I'm 16 in 3months.
My period always comes in 2months instead of 28days. And I have a lot of pain in my breasts, but they also hurt when I don't have my period. I really don't want to go a docter about this, I know I should but shouldn't I better start taking the pill and tgen see if its still hurts?

Def. go to an obgyn and voice your concerns :-) they will be able to suggest the best options for you based on your general health, history, and symptoms. :-)

To be honest the pill isn't that good for the body if u just taking it to get your period coz it has all sorts of strong hormons and should only take it of you are in a stable relationship and your sexual active other then that you shouldn't really. And your period just hasn't got into a normal 28day cycle rhythm it's not a problem, don't worry about it too much.

I started taking the pill when I was 16 without my mother's consent. Now keep in mind that everyone's bodies react differently to different medications, but my experience was awful. I gained 40 pounds in about three months and I was always tired and had suicidal thoughts. For me it wasn't worth it. On the other hand, my acne did lighten up and my periods were much lighter and always on time. I started taking birth control because I was sexually active, not because my periods; like you. All I can tell you is do what's right for you. Good luck and I hope this helps:)
