Do you get along with your mother in law

I absolutely love my mother in law

Sadly My husbands mother HATES me she calles me the "Devil" I wish she will like me. I have been nice to her since I met her. But all of a sudden when we were going to get married all of that changed :(

My mother in law and i use to get along great until all the times my husband and i have split up due to his anger ("he's bipolar") and to her he's perfect and i need to learn how to shut my mouth when he gets mad which i don't believe i should have to do since all that's going to cause is more fights later and me bringing up everything that I've held in, we've been through that before... i have horrible anxiety so him flipping out doesn't make things easy for me...

My mother in law loved me til my husband and I got married lol now she says I have ruined his life and has tried everything she can to get us to divorce... Funny thing is since he's married me his life has been 10Xs better he's got into his career thanks to me supporting him and he's furthering his education because I have been supporting him

Mine is like another mother to me. I wouldn't know what to do if we didn't get along. She has 2 sons so she looooves having a "daughter" and treats me like her own :)

His real mom I have never met and probably never will and I'm okay with that. I met his foster/adopted mom for the first time at for our wedding. Can't say I hate or like her from that one experience but can say that I'm not to interested in building a close relationship.

I get along with my mother in law. We have a really good relationship. She reminds me of myself. She likes to smile and laugh. Not big on being a sour puss lol

I voted the devil, which is the truth, but another truth is, I'm closer with her then my own Mother. I can talk to her about anything and everything, and she won't judge me for whatever we're talking about, and she supports all my decisions regarding, not only my own future, but the future of her son and grandson. She's one of my heros. :)
