How early can you have your first scan and when can you find out the gender???

Answer

You can have an ultrasound at 6 weeks that should show if the baby is in the uterus, but won't show much else. By 10 weeks, you'll be able to see the heartbeat for sure. By 20 weeks, you should be able to get a definite sex.
