I'm 27 getting married in a month. I want to have children but I also have epilepsy which I take medication for and luckily have not suffered a seizure in a few years. My concerns are that my meds are very bad for unborn children and I have tried switching to every medicine that is considered safe for pregnancy and they have all had a negative effect on me. So I am stuck in a very upsetting dilemma. Has anyone else dealt with this and is there a light at the end of the tunnel? My medicine is depakote aka divalproex btw.
