You MUST go pee ALWSaYS after sex!  Air gets trapped in the urethra and uretur. If you don't let it out the bacteria that for pushed up while having sex will just breed and breed. You can even have one 2-3 days later after sex. Drinking alcohol and not drinking a big glass of wYer before bed can have the same affect. Hope this helps some.

Pee before & after sex. Also drink pure cranberry juice or take cranberry capsules if you feel one coming on. Recurring UTI's can sometimes be a sign of diabetes, too.

Take cranberry supplements for a day of two after intercourse. They really help!! If you feel a UTI coming on drink a ton if water all day and take cranberry :) you can also drink cranberry juice, pure stuff without sugar added

I use to until I made sure to pee everytime after sex- If for some reason I can't pee I head straight to the kitchen no matter the time and drink a full glass of cranberry juice - I know this sounds strange but if u don't feel the urge to pee I get in the tub and let hot water run all over me and usually I pee- even if it's a little amount- I pretty much do everything to avoid a uti

I found out I have one it's been about 4 weeks!!! I went to the er and was put on antibiotics n prescribed cephalexin. Then went to the er for spotting three weeks later and it was still there. The er doctor took me off cephalexin (different hospital) because it doesn't work and put me on macrobid. Tuesday is my first appointment hopefully this demon is gone!!

I used to get UTI symptoms about a week before AF, by the time I started they would go away. Now I'm 10 weeks pregnant and haven't had any symptoms

I used to when I was younger which was pretty weird. But now my sister gets them alot. Cranberry juice is helpful for us :)
