Long distance relationship can be totally rewarding. I think distance makes the heart grow fonder if you really love the person. Not seeing them all the time when you want to isn't great but when you do get to see them it's great. It gives you time to miss each other and I think it makes you appreciate one another too

I don't understand the point of a long distance relationship on a long term basis. If its only going to be a few months, sure, but why be in a relationship with someone you never see? Basically you've committed yourself to a pen pal.

My high school boyfriend and I went to separate colleges about 3 hours apart, it's hard and there are times that I hate it but we've grown a lot from it and there have been some real benefits, not something I want to do forever though
