help with cramps?

I get real bad period cramps and even though i take something it don't always help. what are ways to help with cramps?

I have PCOS and I get horrible cramps that won't go away even with medication. Recently I started drinking basil tea and it has done wonders for me! It takes a little while to make effect but it really helps. Basil helps by reducing the swelling and flushing the blood out.

I also get bad cramps and I try to eat bananas and even elevate my legs to a level where cramp pain is supposed to be "reduced." Even massaging the ovarian area and putting pressure on that area- holding it for 10 seconds, and repeating the process is suppose to help but I can't go through the day without medication. I take two advils every 4 hours. If that doesn't work midol should work. If that doesn't work then I would go see a doctor and get prescription medication for the pain.

I have really bad I take midol and drink milk and bananas help some but  most of the time I have to take pills to make me sleep it off

I have tablets that knock mee out cause my periods are really bad too the point I can't walk, ask your gp for tablets that can help you sleep it off or take away the pain
