Did the birth control PILL make you gain or lose weight?

I've lost 65 pounds and I'm afraid to gain some back due to my BC.

Answer

I gained 30lbs on Depo. I didn't gain anything because of the pill, but I did hit an all time high of 270lbs. I've stayed on the pill and was still able to drop nearly 70lbs with diet and exercise. I don't think the pill has any effect on weight gain but I've heard it's harder to lose weight on the pill because of the estrogen.

The pill shouldn't but  all birth control do have steroids in it

I have been on 2 different types of pills and the depo! When I was on ortho tri cycle low I lost weight and I didn't gain or lose with the depo and now I'm on empress and I gained!
