I live in the USA but I went on a medical mission trip to Lima, Peru. The area we were in was one of the nicer areas yet it was clear that poverty was everywhere. The people there were amazing and so appreciative. Even with a language barrier the love and gratefulness was there. I wouldn't choose to live there but I definitely would like to go back and give more to them.
