We have just realised that a medication my husband takes effectively acts as a spermicide. I threw the worlds biggest tantrum when I realised as I was so annoyed he hadn't thought to ask the dr about impact on TTC when I think about it so much. There was yelling and tears, it was not pleasant. Will keep you updated.
