What would you do if birth defences found in your ultrasound?

I would every test available to determine what and how bad they were and make a decision at that point. My brother in law has cerebral palsy and therefore my dh knows first hand the effects this can have on family life and how hard it is on siblings etc and also the quality of life for not only his brother but the test of the family.

I would do nothing! Everything happens for a reason!!

Nothing. Except pray for the strength & knowledge necessary to raise a special child.

My baby was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect at 20 weeks. There was no question that I would carry him to term and love him as much as his brother & sister. He had to have open-heart surgery at 3 months old and yeah it was rough, but we made it through and now he is a healthy, happy 2 year old!

First: not to freak out. Often it's not true - bc US was missread. 
​Second: Get a second opinion!
​Third: i would do nothing more. If there is REALY a birth defect - than it will show .... Often diagnosis is wrong and you'll get a pretty gealthy baby.
