Get your materials? I have a Michaels and JoAnn near me but I feel that sometimes I struggle to find what I want for my projects. Especially when it comes to fabrics! Do you have a favorite shop or online resource?

I definately go to JoAnn for fabric. Michaels for crafts like jewelry, painting. And I actually get my yarn at Walmart lol

Michaels and Walmart. They're really the only options, sadly!  I'm considering trying to find yarn online, but I really like to see and feel it in person before committing.

I used to live in a small town with NO CRAFT STORE!!! Oh the horrors! My hometown only has a quilting store and Wal-Mart... Now I live near Michael's as well as Jo Ann's! I love it!

I go to the local quilt shops. My favorites are: Corn Wagon Quilts and the Cotton Shop. They have quality fabrics for decent prices.

I get mine from Jo Ann, Michaels and Hancock Fabrics most of the time. I have gotten some from the local yarn shop, but I am just starting out and sometimes they are a bit more expensive.

Hawaii doesn't have Jo Ann's OR Michael's :( We do have Wal-mart and Ben Franklin though, along with a couple local yarn stores so it's not too bad.

I get mine mainly at walmart or hobby lobby. Walmart is the closest so mostly there. I really enjoy stocking up on seasonal things when they go on sale! The check out ladies think I'm hilarious when I roll up with a buggy FULL of yarn! ??

Check your good will S thrift stores as well.  Both here get things of fabric, ribbons, threads and so on and they are super cheap to purchase.

Usually Michaels or A.C. Moore, or Wal Mart when they have a sale. I wish there was a local Hobby Lobby because I hear they have a great yarn selection.

I like Joannes or Wal-Mart for yarn. Actually, I like Joannes for most of my crafting supplies. I go to specialty stores for beads and if i want a particular kind of yarn for a project.
