Is it acceptable to have a baby shower for your second baby?

I know a lot of people think you shouldn't have a shower if it isn't your first baby.

In our family we do it for each pregnancy (: no matter how many kids you have every baby deserves their own baby shower.

I wouldn't expect the huge gifts...crib, stroller...etc but every baby deserves to be celebrated. I would just make it so gifts were optional. It seems like the older generation has a problem with it

I have never heard of not having a baby shower for each of ur babies. Every baby deserves a babyshower even if it's not big. A celebration for ur new bundle of joy ??

Depends on if you are having a different gender second time around. Often people call them a baby sprinkle instead of shower. Less of the big things like no furniture strollers etc but more so clothes diapers

Yes! Even though I'm having another boy the age gap is almost 6 years. While I have the big items already bring on the baby clothes and diapers!!!

I am having my 5th baby my oldest child is 15 and youngest is 4 so I NEED a baby shower not sure of the sex yet but if I have a girl I have nothing for her. I know some ppl don't think u should have one but come on u have a birthday party for each kid why wouldn't u have a shower??
