Some research says there are fewer complications if you conceive again within the first 6 months, and the only reason doctors recommend waiting a cycle is so it's easier to estimate the timeline for the baby. The first cycle is usually longer than normal, due to the miscarriage, so if you use the first day of the miscarriage as LMP, you could be a week or two off and get worried when nothing shows up on the 6 week scan, but it would be because baby's only 4 weeks, for example.

None of those. It depends on your cycle. When I got pregnant the first time that cycle was 45 days long, this cycle should be about 28/29 days long depending on if I'm pregnant now. I waited to have a period like the hospital and my dr told me before TTC again.
