Is it normal to be jealous of your boyfriends previous sex partners?

He is my first and I've always loved the idea that I would be a first to the person I'm inlove with. Unfortunely that's not how it turned out and I get a little jealous at times

my husband was my first years before we got married but same as you I wasn't his first. it made me really upset & almost mad.. he would randomly talk about it for no reason & still even now when I even hear the names of two specific exs I cringe. It's just because you care for him.. it's not wrong, it's apart of life. talk to him about it, don't let your jealous turn to anger.

My husband and I are 5 years apart and he was my first but I wasn't his. I was secretly very upset after learning he had 4 partners before me but I eventually had to learn that he is older than me and has had more time to date and see other people. It never bothers me now cause we are married and have a child. It took time for me to get over though.

I just told him I don't wanna hear about them. Not jealous. But don't need  to know every detail of who he banged. And he pretty much told me the same thing he doesn't wanna hear about it.
