Red raspberry lead tea helped me. I had periods so heavy for so long that I could never stand up without having a rush of blood run down my leg. You can find it in bulk or in tea bags (just plain red raspberry leaves, not flavored raspberry zinger or anything like that) at health food stores. I drink 1-2 cups a day when I'm expecting my period and throughout the week. My period has gone from super heavy 7 days long, to 5 days of light flow, with only the first 2 days being moderate or heavy. Hope this helps :)

7 days isn't too bad. When I was 17 they were 10 days long. Now I'm 21 and they're 4-6 days long.. and not that heavy.

Definitely see your doctor, my sister had them like that and she was put on birth control which made them alot lighter, she came off birth control, fell pregnant and now has a 8 month old baby girl and her periods are fine now
