Hello everyone. I used Glow to track my cycles as I was trying to get pregnant, and I got pregnant on our first try. However, I went to the doc for my first appointment yesterday and I found out my baby was 9 weeks in size, but did not have a heartbeat. I was so disappointed & of course I began searching for stories on line to see why this might have happened & what I should expect next. The doc offered me the options of D & C and some sort of vaginal gel. I decided I just wanted to let things happen naturally. After seeing the baby on the ultrasound I don't want to do anything to chase it out of my body on purpose. However, I am eager to move forward & try again. Fortunately I seem to be starting a natural miscarriage. I have found at that this is a lot more common than I realized. Apparently there is a 20% chance of miscarriage. I'm feeling hopeful that I will be pregnant again within the next 5 months and I'll be able to post a happy conclusion to this story. The doctor said seeing as this was my unlucky one the next one should be lucky.
