I see a lot of people posting/ replying to posts that they have had miscarriages so I'm wondering how often it happens. Have you ever had a miscarriage?

Its very common sadly and most child bearing women will have one. My first two pregnancies bore healthy live babies but in my last one the babys heart stopped beating at 9 weeks, little over a week after it was seen and deemed healthy on an ultrasound. It completely shattered me and i felt like a failure. But the fact is most women will suffer a miscarriage at some point and it makes us no less of a woman and certainly, in most cases its nobodys fault, just a case of  selection. Im now 13 weeks with a healthy little babba xxx

I have had three. Lost twins 12/21/10, lost my son 04/20/14, and just lost my fourth baby on 09/09/14. It's much more common than you think.

It's unfortunately a common thing. In very early pregnancy ( 4. and 5. week) the risk to get a MC is about 30%... Today all these MC are detected because all the woman are testing at this early time.... But in early pregnancy NOTHING is for sure. There is always a possibility that the fertilized egg doesn't grow further. If hartbeat is detected, than the risk for MC minimize but is still about 15% - it depends although from mother's age... If you are pregnant about 12-13 weeks than the risk of MC is only about 2-3%... But it's still there. It's never easy to desl with.....
