How long does it take for the birth control pill to kick in?

I have been on the pill for 2 full weeks and just had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and we used the pullout method. Could there be a chance that I'm pregnant???
No... very slight chance. Been there and done that. It doesn't take a month for your birth control to be in full effect. But to be on the safe side, use another form of birth control the first month also.
