Testing after multiple miscarriages?

Question

Has anyone suffered multiple miscarriages before? And if yes, what was the next step that your doctor took or did for you in order to help you keep your pregnancy?

​I've had 2 recent miscarriages and am trying to get my doctor to help me out whether it's through some sort of testing or something else. I just don't know what the next step is. :(

I've also had two miscarriages and my RE has done an RPL panel  (repeating pregnancy loss). They don't usually do them until after three but my Dr felt like that was our next step.

I have had 3 miscarriages. I went through a hysteroscopy to make sure there wasn't scar tissue or anything unusual in the uterus. And then my dr has recommended the testing already mentioned in the other comment.

I had three early miscarriages. My doctor ordered a whole bunch of blood tests (19 vials of blood). He said the next step would be genetic testing, then dying and checking my uterus for abnormal structure.

I have had two miscarriages this year.  I went to a reproductive endocrinologist (I'm over 35 y/o) and he is doing hormone levels, clomiphine citrate challenge, and ultrasound.  Antiphosolipid antibody and autoimmune testing after that.

I had 2 mc's both at 6w4d. So my dr immediately started testing. Did every test mentioned in previous comments. Some of the testing required that we couldn't try for 12weeks after my hcg levels were 0 after my last mc. On Tuesday we will be meeting with my dr for the results of all the testing and what our next step is since we have not gotten pregnant since she gave us the okay to try again in July. Don't give up hope and if your mc's are roughly at the same time your doctor should test sooner.

So when I spoke with my OBGYN on Friday (and was ovulating at the time) I informed her that I'd like to start testing if things don't pan out again for the 3rd consecutive time. I told her I was ovulating and trying again (for the 3rd time back to back). She ended up ordering labs for various tests (diabetes, thyroid, lupus, etc) and prescribed me some type of Progesterone pill that I should begin taking twice a day as soon as I'm done ovulating (although she keeps telling me that there's very little research on progesterone and it's not so much known for preventing or keeping pregnancies...which drives me nuts...I get that, but just want to try it)! She mentioned other tests that could be done later down the road if I don't get pregnant or miscarriage again this time around.

​I started taking the progesterone pills today and am seriously hoping and praying for a sticky baby this time around!!! ?
