A LOT OF $$$$! A pack of the cheaper brand diapers is usually between $7-9.00. Huggies and pampers are more expensive, around about $10-13.00 per pack of about 27. That may not seem like a lot of money but it is if your going through the diapers quickly. They add up trust me. You can buy bulk wipes at walmart usually around $12-13 (can't remember how many come with it but a lot) baby formula can get close to $30 for the larger size (can't remember how many ounces it's been awhile since I bought one) baby food can be pretty inexpensive but you will go through it quick. Car seats can run anywhere from $40-200.00 so it really depends on the brand and type of car seat you get, some of them are really decked out. With clothes, the children's place is my favorite, they always have sales and deals going on & the clothes are cute. And utilize couponing!! It'll help tons!

It depends on if you’re buying used or new things, and what kind of items you want. We bought a $200 stroller that fit his infant seat. You can buy a more simple stroller for A LOT cheaper. Especially used. We also bought a pretty expensive and sturdy car seat. There’s much cheaper generic car seats. We bought a new crib. All three of those items right there add up to more than $500. You can find a cheaper crib, or buy a cheap little bassinet if you plan on having baby in your room. You can coupon and buy diapers in bulk. There’s also ways you can buy diapers cheaper off parents who have extra diapers they need to get rid of. You don’t have to buy burp cloths if you absolutely don’t want to. You can use old shirts, or wash cloths if you need to get by. Coupons and buying in bulk for diapers and wipes are big. Then look for sales on things like diaper creams and lotions. You can buy generic crib sheets. You don’t have to have a changing table pad. If you strictly breastfeed he won’t need bottles. Formula is pretty expensive.
