Legalize, tax, regulate and have it be 18+ or 21+. I've worked in the past with many pro-cannabis activists (both people in the Boston area and from around the country including presidents of different NORML chapters and editors of High Times Magazine) and have learned soo much about this amazing plant. The "war on drugs" hasn't worked and its put a stigma on marijuana. IT'S SAFER THAN ALCOHOL! How can alcohol be legal when marijuana (which can help, Not hurt you) is not?

It's not just the consumption that I am excited for, it's the new medical possibilities, the opening up of ssooooo many renewable natural resources! PLUS since marijuana became legal here in the beautiful state of Colorado, and additional $1.5 MILLION went to funding public schools, and crime went down 23%! How in the hell could that be bad???

Marijuana should definantly be legal. Alcohol does not just affect you. Alcoholics for one effects everyone around them. Relationships, their jobs, their family. Marijuana has a hand full of benefits. It stimulates an appetite, promotes sleep, calms you down, releases a happy trigger. Alcohol either makes you violent, makes you emotional or gets you pregnant (jk for anyone who took that personal). You can still function while smoking, you become irrational when you drink, hence the drunk driving..

Yes if it didn't smell so godawfully terrible. I stayed at a hotel in Colorado and wow....couldn't hardly breathe with the smell of skunk and smoke permeating the air. I don't care if the "good stuff" has to smell bad...keep it away from me!!

Hell yeah it should. 
​Alcohol is legal, people abuse it all the time.
​They get in fights, drive drunk, puke everywhere, get hangovers, etc.

​I've never seen any of that with people who smoke weed. You just wanna chill, eat, and bone.

No one has ever died from smoking too much weed. It should totally be legalized and alcohol should be the substance that is banned.

Absolutely not. It harms more than just yourself. You can drink a beer and YOU are the only one effect. You smoke a joint and EVERYONE around you has contact high. Its not fair to them to get DUII's and other troubles. You can drink a beer with dinner and have your children at the table, or outside on the porch while they play, and it won't effect them. But, smoking a joint in either of those places will get your family high as well. Marijuana has been proven to kill brain cells, why make your babies dumb before they have a chance? 
If you seriously medically NEED it, there needs to be strict wheb and where rules.

I really wish it wasn't just because we don't know what it does to your body in the long run but as long as people use it for the right reasons then it's ok... However my Bestfriend who has been like my sister since kindergarten ( my mom has actually offered to have her move in with us) has been very depressed due to her parents recent divorce and has recently started abusing marihuana and I wish it wasn't so easy to obtain because I can see it slowly changing her and ever since she started she almost looks like she's dead inside now vs. The bright and shining girl who no matter the situation, at least her eyes were always bright
