Are you doing the Panorama Test?

So I just got this email, and it's about the Non-invasive prenatal test called Panorama. It's done by blood drawn from your arm, and sent off to the lab.
​The test checks for Down Syndrome, genetic abnormalities, and even find out the sex of the baby!

I just got mine back last week, at 14w. It's pretty awesome to know my baby is healthy through a non-invasive means and even know the gender already!

My doctor told me insurance doesn't pay for it but that was in the beginning of my pregnancy she told me it could cost me up to $2,000 and I was like Nevermind.. Not that I wanted to find out about the genetic abnormalities, just too impatient to find out the gender lol we'll I told her I couldn't afford it and I waited til 14 weeks an got a 3-d ultrasound and found out we are having a girl! We'll I went back to my doctor last week and she done the blood work (basically checking for everything panorama does) and it was free of charge! I was like really woman lol

I've just had this done and I'm waiting for the results. I'm from the UK so it might be a bit different but they send a letter with the chances of downs syndrome, if it's high they offer more tests. But I don't get to find out the sex :( I just want to make sure my baby is healthy.

I did it but because my bf's oldest brother has a disability.  They didn't tell us gender but the chances of having a disability.  I wanted to know in case we needed to be prepared!
