Due date from period or ovulation day?

Question

Do you estimate your due date from your last period or your ovulation day? My doctor has gone from my last period, but I didn't ovulate until cycle day 21.

​I found two calculators (one for last period and one for ovulation day) and it puts me at either 4th or 10th of June. My doctor has ordered blood tests to get a better idea, but I'm going to go with the 10th so I'm not disappointed if I go passed the 4th!

First day of your last cycle! So first day you bled. People don't realize that pregnancy is really more then nine months because the actually count your cycle as part of it!

I am that way too. I didn't o til CD 26. So I just counted back 2 weeks and where is fell I used that as the beginning of my cycle. Does that make sense? Other wise I would be almost 8 weeks pregnant and I don't think my baby is that developed yet.

I think mine would be off by about two days- which in the scheme of things won't make a difference. If yours would be a week difference, I would mention it to your doc to account for any size difference they may find?
