Have you ever ovulated the day before your cycle started?

I've been on metformin for a few months, and finally got a positive LH test two days ago! But then, of course, my period started yesterday. 
​Any experience with this situation, and how to make the best of it?

I got my period 5 days after I ovulated last cycle but it was my first AF after my surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy so I think my body was resetting & whacko - maybe it's the same for you? I'd try letting my AF go by (sadly) then aim to start TTC on the next cycle. If it keeps being messed up, next cycle, talk to your Dr abt the luteal phase problem you would surely be having.
