I've always wanted a water birth and now I'm pregnant with number 2 I'm set on the idea, first time around I was too poorly and was hooked up to monitors from the moment I got to the hospital, ended up with an epidural, forceps & a nasty third degree tear. Last thing I want is a repeat of this! My fiance thinks I'm bonkers to not want another epidural and want to push out a baby on gas and air, but I love the water and like the idea of trying to stay as calm and serene as possible. What are your thoughts/experiences with water birth? Would love to hear! Xx
