Lower Back pain anyone?

I am 15 weeks today!!!  Not sure if my lower back pain is from the pregnancy or I strained it at the gym, does anyone else have it at this point?  I read about sciatica and some of my symptoms are similar but I would think that pregnancy back pain would start later in the pregnancy.

Mine is really bad, I haven't been diagnosed yet but I plan on talking to my doc on the 20th. I believe I have Lumbar degenerative disc disease. My brother was diagnosed with it while he was in the marines....my legs don't get numb or anything...just hurts really bad when I stand up or sit down or roll over...it's in the very low of my back...I had it before pregnancy it's just mutiplied 100x sense.

Hi katrina I'm nearly 19 weeks and have just left hospital after being admitted with lower back pain. I had a nasty kidney infection which had to be treated by antibiotics. You can suffer from back pain at any time during pregnancy as relaxin takes over but just keep a eye on it if it's severe and constant see your gp

Yes I am 18 weeks. And I have had back pain/ sciatica for a couple weeks now. Hubby bought me a body pillow and I also sleep with a pillow under my hips/butt and it has helped sooooo much!

I read to sleep on your side to help back pain. When you lay on your back, you block blood flow which causes pain in your back.

I've been having back pain the past few weeks as well. And I'm nearing  the end of my  18 weeks thinking it was too early. Guess not! It's mostly sleeping or if I sit for a long time, I get so uncomfortable. And it's mostly my lower back or right lower side which is sciatica. It's going to be a long few months lol.
