I fell in love with you the moment I heard your heart beat
From that point on I longed for the day that we would meet
I would pray with you at night
asking that you grow healthy and strong
And in the morning tell you that your mamma loves you and hope nothing goes wrong
Your daddy and I started planning and dreaming, excited to start a new beginning
To then find out at 10 weeks your heart had stopped beating.
Our life was forever changed after the loss of our first blessing and even more torn with the loss of our second.
The warmth in a child's smile the embrace in a child's hug, the words mommy and daddy will always tug at our hearts.
Though we may eventually seem as though we have moved on know that you are never forgotten and are always loved.
