Birth control- what's your story?

Question

So I'm 17 turning 18 soon & I just started taking birth control and I was just wondering if it can cause infertility in the future? I do want kids someday, and the only reason I'm on birth control really is because cysts keeping forming and rupturing. Please if you have any advice or questions/answers comment below!

​Also Would love to hear your stories about being on birth control. Like if you got pregnant while on the pill or if you couldn't get pregnant when you decided to get off!

I was on bc for about 10 years. I suffered from horrible cycles and my doctors assumed I had endometriosis. To treat it, they put me on menstrual suppression to stop my cycles and high doses of pain meds when I did have them. It worked for a while, but then I started having side effects and we tried switching methods but then I was spotting all the time. It got so bad that after a 6 week period, I decided to try going off it for a while.

When I did, all my issues went away. I now have normal, regular, cycles and have no desire to ever be on synthetic hormones ever again.
